We build the other kind of experience. The trip where the guide actually knows the place, the pace lets you breathe, and you come home with something more than a folder of photos.

The idea for TravelHosts arrived after a trip to Buenos Aires in 2010, where out founder, Ben noticed the difference between a passionate local guide and a burnt-out tour operator - it became impossible to ignore. One of them shared her city like it mattered. The other was just doing a shift. That gap is what TravelHosts is built to close.

Since 2016, Ben has guided hundreds of people through adventures that actually deliver - cycling Japan's and its highest peaks, tackling the French Alps, hiking Tasmania's wild coastlines, and leading cycling trips out of Melbourne through Victoria's high country. Business people, friends, families - all after the same thing: a real experience, in a real place, with someone who knows it properly.

We're not a big agency running the same script for every group. Every trip is built around the destination, the people in it, and doing it properly — good route, good pace, good company, no filler.
